Santa Claws
He is the older stepbrother of Claus. Same father, different mothers.
His mother was the 2nd cousin of Krampus's grandfather. She and he's father were joined together for the purpose of bringing peace between the two families. Even though the relationship wasn't based on love, they still cared for each other. Claws was convinced without the consent of the couple (magic roofies and body possession). The mother died during childbirth and the father took him, raised him and loved the boy (sometimes he would be tough with him).
After a couple of centuries, the father fell in love with a mortal woman and gave birth to Claus. She also died during childbirth (I know it sucks). Claws was happy to have a little brother and vowed to show him the love he would have received from the mother.
They grew up together, played together, practice magic and combat together. Claws was a great user of magic, but Claus... Claus was a child prodigy. Their father was proud of both of them, but Claws felt that Claus was the favorite.
Centuries go by and the boys meet a gorgeous fairy girl, granddaughter of Oberon. They soon became friends and over a couple of years Claws developed a crush for her. When he went to her to confess his love, he was turned down because she was in love with Claus. Full of rage he ran back home to get his brother.
At the castle a fight started between the two brothers. Claus tried his best to calm him sibling, but the darkened heart inside Claws could not be tamed.
The father woke up from his slumber and seeing what was going on, jumped with his hand at the eldest son's neck. Claws was slowly losing his breath, the world around him going dark. Fearing for his brother's life, Claus tried to stop his father, but it was all in vain. As death was coming closer and closer to poor little Claws, Claus did what needed to be done.
Claus sacrificed an arm and a leg, performing a last resort spell to kill their father and save Claws.
After Claws regained consciousness, he saw what had happened to his family, went mad and went in exile because he was too ashamed to face his brother.
The legend says that every year Santa Claws takes names from the naughty list and makes sure they never end up there ever again or on any other lists.
